I read something online recently — the author was venting that people kept pointing out to her the things she didn't get done in her day, due to her depression, when from her point of view, it was more like, hey! I got through the day! That's the success right there! And at the end of the post she asked, "Where's my badge for that?"
I've been no stranger to deep periods of sadness. I'm actually in a pretty raw spot now, as I type. I understand the guttural cry of, "Where's my badge?" Even while I have so, so many encouraging people around me. So I decided to make some badges. This is for the raw days. ☀️ I hope they give you light — as an honest recognition of the strides we take to move through it in health.
